Perth Royal Show October 2011

We had some great breed results at the Perth Royal; one of the most prestigious shows on the year's calendar. Dog challenge and Best of Breed went to Tommy (Grand Ch Kailasa Affair Oth Heart). Reserve CC went to Juha (Kailasa Here Comes The Sun (AI) ) and bitch CC to Eevie (Ch Kailasa Wish Upon A Star (AI)). Judge for the breed was Jochen Eberhardt (Germany). Group Specials was also a success for us with Tommy being awarded Runner Up Best In Group.

Best Intermediate In Show at WAKC Winter Festival

Eevie (Ch Kailasa Wish Upon A Star (AI) had her turn to shine at the international weekend 9th/10th July 2011, when she went Best Intermediate In Show under John Rowton (Canada)

Oriental Breeds Society Runner Up Best In Show

3 July 2011, we entered the oriental breeds specialist show under Maribel Sy (Sunnyside Shih Tzu Philippines) and had some nice breed and show wins.Dog CC, Best of Breed and Runner Up Best In Show went to Tommy (Grand Ch Kailasa Affair Oth Heart). Bitch CC winner was his half sister Eevie (Ch Kailasa Wish Upon A Star(AI) ). Also on the same day, the Oriental Breeds Society conducted their Open Show with Best In Show going to Tommy. Thank you to all the judges on the day.

BIS & Grand Champion title in one day

April 30 2011 was a fantastic day for Kailasa when Tommy won Best In Show under Jackie Perry (Thailand) and also had attained the final points to become Grand Champion. At four years old, Tommy has had a fantastic show career and continues to make me proud with his achievements.

Lhasa Apso Club NSW Specialty Easter 2011

We had the good fortune to combine my judging of Tibetan Terrier Assn NSW Specialty with an opporrtunity to show at the LAC show two days earlier. The dogs flew across Australia with me and despite poor handling by the airline, managed to show well on the day. Tommy (Ch Kailasa Affair Oth Heart) won Dog CC and RUpBISS. King (Chic Choix The Sunking (Imp Swd) ) won Open dog class and Eevie (Ch Kailasa Wish Upon A Star (AI) ) was second in Intermediate class. Judge was UK specialist Stuart Keay. Thankyou to Marilyn Foster for the kind offer of accommodation whilst I was in NSW. It was a fantastic visit.

At the Kalamunda Ag. Show hosted by Non Sporting Dog Club, Karis (Kailasa Apsolute Karisma) became a new champion under breed specialist Peter Warby (NSW) Dog CC and Best of Breed was awarded to Ch Kailasa Affair oth Heart (Tommy)

Tommy has a fantastic night at Contest of Winners

In March 2011, Tommy was one of the state's top dogs invited to compete for Best of Winners at this prestigious event. Only 32 dogs were eligible to compete in this "knock out" contest. Tommy was successful in all rounds until the last two dogs-himself and the winner. What an unexpected and thrilling achievement to have got so far in this competition.
