Australia Day weekend and our first show for 2014

What a great start to the year! Tommy won Best of Breed two days in a row with Runner Up Best In Group at each show. Young Hugo (Kailasa Empire Of The Sun) won Puppy of Breed, Best Puppy in Group and then Best Puppy In Show two days in a row whilst his sister Bella (Kailasa Heven Hasmy Hartstrngs) won Best Puppy In Group at the third show. Thank you to the panel of judges who awarded them. It was great!

2014 starts out with a new look website and an invite to Contest of Winners

Although it is approaching the end of January and we are yet to attend a show, an important letter was delivered recently. Tommy (Supreme Ch Kailasa Affair Oth Heart) has been invited to the Contest of Winners for the fourth consecutive year. We have to accept that as testimony to his consistent recognition in the conformation ring. We would like to thank the Australian and International judges who awarded him during 2013.

Canine Stewards Championship Show 13 May 2012

With storms approaching, we were lucky to be able to show outdoors at the Canine Stewards Show. Our kind judge, Mrs Daphne Zipperer (Qld) even stopped her judging when Lhasa Apsos were about to enter the ring as it had started raining. We managed to finish the group judging without further showers with Tommy winning another Runner Up Best In Group. Thank you to our considerate judge for the day. After all the work in preparing a coat for the show, no one wants to get their dog wet in the ring.

Non Sporting Dog Club May Championship Show

Another nice win for Tommy (Grand Ch Kailasa Affair Oth Heart) at the Non Sporting Dog Club's Championship Show at the beginning of May; Dog Challenge, Best of Breed and Runner Up Best In Show. Thank you to judge Mrs Roslyn Seare (QLD).

Top Open Show Dog at the Western Classic March 2012

It was a nice surprise to receive an invitation from Dogs West for King (Chic Choix The Sunking) to represent the Non Sporting group as the point score winner, at the Top Open Show Dog competition, held at the Western Classic.

Eevie wins Best In Group-March 2012

My little 'star" Eevie (Ch Kailasa Wish Upon A Star (AI) ) had a nice win on the same weekend as our Contest Of Winners. She was not only Best of Breed under Mr G Missen (Victoria), but also Best In Group.

March 2012-Tommy has a great night at Contest of Winners

For the second year in a row, Tommy (Grand Ch Kailasa Affair Oth Heart) qualified as one of the state's top dogs to compete at the prestigious Contest Of Winners. The invitation only event is open to the top four place winners in each group with an extra four within the next place getters to make up a field of 32. For the second year in a row, Tommy also made it through to the final round; himself and the ultimate winner. I am very proud that he progressed so far in this "knock out" competition.
